Davis, Drummond, Beal Headline Top-10 One-And-Done Candidates

Nov 8, 2011 1:46 PM

The one-and-done college freshman really began in 2007 when high school players were no longer allowed to enter the NBA Draft.

Six freshmen, headlined by Greg Oden and Kevin Durant, were selected in the 2007 Lottery. Seven freshmen were lottery picks in 2008, but the trend has gone the other way in recent years with two in 2009, four in 2011 and four in 2011 if Enes Kanter is counted.

Headlined by Anthony Davis and Andre Drummond, ESPN's Chad Ford highlighted the ten most likely one-and-done candidates in this year's freshman class.

Joining Davis and Drummond are Bradley Beal of Florida, James McAdoo of North Carolina, Quincy Miller of Baylor, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist of Kentucky, Austin Rivers of Duke, Marquis Teague of Kentucky, Myck Kabongo of Texas and Le'Bryan Nash of Oklahoma State.
